Location Leeds 

Salary  £35,000 - £45,000

TCRecruit is proud to be exclusively instructed by an established health and safety consultancy to identify an experienced Health and Safety Consultant to join their small team and assist with the delivery of health and safety advice to their customers, predominantly in the construction industry.

As a Health and Safety Consultant, you'll have the unique opportunity to collaborate closely with the directors, contributing to the expansion of the business while developing your own skills and expertise.

You will be confident with excellent communication skills and able to engage effectively with clients in the construction, manufacturing, retail and education sectors with a willingness to travel between sites and the Leeds office base. 

The Role

  • Providing top-quality consultancy services to customers

  • Offering expert health and safety advice

  • Conducting site inspections and site audits and providing reports

  • Carrying out toolbox talks and delivering health and safety training

  • Keeping customers informed about new legislation

  • Collaborating with directors to drive business growth

  • Upholding the company's image and core values

  • Responsively meeting client needs

  • Effective calendar management

About You

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a health and safety role

  • A minimum of 2 years construction industry experience 

  • Good knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 

  • Professional with a friendly and personable approach.

  • NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent 

  • CertIOSH

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to schedule your own workload

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite. 

  • Full driving licence
