Our client is seeking a dedicated H&S professional to join their small, dynamic team as a Health and Safety Consultant to deliver consultancy and training services to a diverse clientele across various industries in the Yorkshire area.
The Role

Perform site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.

Develop risk assessments, policies, procedures, and induction materials.

Deliver a range of training courses, from toolbox talks to formal accredited courses (e.g., IOSH, Nebosh).

Communicate effectively and build relationships with clients.

Provide pragmatic solutions and ongoing support.

Contribute to maintaining best practice standards and ensuring a safe environment.

Produce reports, action plans, and recommendations.

Assist in the delivery of training sessions.

Collaborate on creating written Safety, Health, and Environmental materials.
Requirements

NEBOSH Diploma, NVQ Level 6, or equivalent.

TechIOSH or working towards it.

Minimum 2 years Health & Safety experience in construction

Proven ability to deliver Health & Safety training.

Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.

Familiarity with conducting risk assessments and audits.

Adaptable and capable of providing various services within reasonable timeframes.

Proficient literacy and IT skills.

Driving licence
